We are hosting a free-to-attend Crossref LIVE Event at the JST offices, K's Gobancho 7, Gobancho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo on the 14th February 2018.

The seminar is relevant for publishers, editors, service providers, hosting platforms, funders, librarians; really anyone interested in finding out more about what Crossref is and does.
The event will cover:
1. An introduction to Crossref
2. What is Crossref metadata and how is it used?
3. How publishers can work with Crossref services, deposit metadata and problem-solve.
4. Using Crossref tools and services in the publishing process
5. An overview of membership trends and current projects
6. Upcoming new developments
Sessions will be presented in English but with live interpretation into Japanese.
There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, and you can submit questions in advance when you sign-up or by emailing feedback@crossref.org.
There is no cost for attending the event, but we do need people to register as space is limited.
